+ GRAPE: 100% Sangiovese Grosso. Organic growing. The Uccelliera estate is located in the warm southern Castelnuovo dell’Abate region within the Montalcino zone, which offers optimal ripening. 

+ PROFILE: Dry. Medium + body, fine tannins, and fresh acidity given the style. This is a serious, structured, complex wine that exudes the hallmark profiles of a beautifully aged Sangiovese. Brooding Marasca cherry, black plums, spiced orange, a hint of sage and cedar. Plush mouthfeel ready for a bistecca Toscana or pasta Bolognese. 

+ FUNDAMENTALS: Aged for 24 months in a mix of large French + Slavonian oak barrels. A mere 2500 cases produced annually.
