I'm a Jura red blend from a mountainous region of France (bordering Switzerland). And a super Burgundy alternative.
+ GRAPES: Organic. Blend of 36% Trousseau, 44% Pinot Noir, and 20% Poulsard.
+ PROFILE: Dry. Medium body. I taste like a stroll through an autumnal forest with highland cherries, plush plums, and wild herbs. Some Alpine vibes from the high-elevation. This is a terrific year-rounder red. Enjoy with a slight chill and bistro food - hanger steak, roast chicken, duck breast, mushroom dishes.
+ FUNDAMENTALS: Destemmed grapes from 40+ years old vines. Wild yeast. Fermentation and aging in large, old foudre barrels. Very classic, super pleasurable.
