...a loose translation of 'Chemin Faisant'. The winemaker stumbled upon his happy place with this wine whilst experimenting with various blends. A fruitful endeavor, indeed.
+ GRAPES: 70% Cinsault, 30% Syrah blend. Certified organic grapes grown in Provence, France.
+ FUNDAMENTALS: The Cinsault and Syrah were picked and vinified separately. Whole clusters of Syrah went through a carbonic maceration in stainless steel, with the Cinsault was destemmed and fermented an in egg-shaped plastic vat and steel tanks. The two wines were then blended and bottled. Unfined/unfiltered. A mere 2g/hl s02 was added just prior to bottling.
