A crisp orange wine that will delight skin-contact fanatics and red-wine drinkers alike. The winemaker employs a mix of white grapes from different vineyards, resulting in a beautiful showcase of all the delicate flavors of white grapes - but with additional substance and texture.
+ GRAPES: Organic. It's a veritable who's who of grapes, but we know who wore it best. In 2023 vintage, the supporting cast goes to: 34% Chenin Blanc, 18% Pinot Gris, 12% Colombard, 9% Xarel-lo, 8% Verdelho, 6% Vermentino, 3% Trousseau Gris, 3% Semillon, 3 % Guwurztraminer, 2% Riesling, 2% Malvasia Bianco. Grown in California's Central Coast.
+ PROFILE: Top notes: Apricot, peach Snapple, marmalade orange, black tea, tangerine oil. Bass note: honeysuckle, white flowers.
+ FUNDAMENTALS: Destemmed grapes, wild yeast, six week maceration on the skins in stainless steel tanks for fermentation, then finished in acacia wood barrels. Light filtration and minimal added sulfur. Vegan.
+ PAIRINGS: Blue cheese, duck sausage, dried fruit, roasts and toasts.
