+ GRAPES: Organic. Red-white field blend of a gazillion grapes: 25% Marsanne, 22% Grenache, 17% Picpoul, 16% Mourvèdre, 7% Cinsault, 6% Syrah, 4% Counoise, 3% Roussanne. Grown in coastal Mendocino, California.
+ PROFILE: Dry, light body. Dried cranberry, rhubarb, dried herbs, sunbaked stone - followed by cassis, cola nut, dried herbs, confected cherry, and fruit tannins. Give this a medium chill, and enjoy with anything that has a char, salume, medium soft cheeses.
+ FUNDAMENTALS: Lo-fi winemaking. Wild yeast. Stainless steel fermentation, neutral oak aging. Unfined/unfiltered. Low sulfites [10ppm added s02]. 13% ABV. 600 cases produced.
