+ PROVENANCE: Made from a blend of rare alpine herbs grown high on mountain slopes in the Val d'Aoste region of Italy.
+ PROFILE: Deep amber in color. Both sweet and bitter, cooling and warming. It's like a trip to the Italian Alps, minus the jet lag. Herbal, fresh, balanced. A perfect neat as a digestivo, or an exciting twist on a Rye Old Fashioned or Manhattan cocktail.
+ FUNDAMENTALS: Base of neutral grain distillate, infused with 20+ native botanicals such as gentian root, rhubarb root, cardamom, wormwood, orange peel, baking spices, mint, and star anise. Sweetened only with sugar beets. 38% ABV.
+ ABOUT: Artisanal spirit. This family-run distillery was founded in 1948 by the Calvetti family.
