+ GRAPE: 100% Agiorgitiko, an indigenous Greek varietal. Grown on the mainland.
+ PROFILE: Light-medium body. Juicy, but not sweet. Loads of ripe red berries, plums, and an herbal spice-market situation. Serve me with a light chill. I'd be delicious with Mediterranean and Middle Eastern fare.
+ FUNDAMENTALS: Low intervention. Hand-harvested grapes. All stainless steel winemaking (e.g. unoaked). Unfined, light filtration and modest sulfites.
+ GREEK GUIDE: Agiorgitiko is prounounced 'AYE-yor-YEE-tea-koh', and Stamnaki means 'little wine jug' in Greek.
